Extension of Welfare Measures for BCs / CSPs
We invite reference to the e circular no. NBG/FIMF/BC/CSP/1/2020-21 dated 09th April 2020,
communicating approval of certain welfare measures for the BC/CSPs during the Covid-19
Pandemic scenario.
The details of the existing approved measures were valid till May 2020 as under:
i. Payment of a Fixed incentive to the CSP – a sum of Rs.3000/- only + applicable taxes per
month / per CSP who are active for 21 days a month.
ii. Payment of an additional transaction based incentive of Rs 2/- (inclusive of GST) per
transaction, over and above the fixed component mentioned in point (i) above, subject to the
CSP carrying out 40 transactions or more during a day, with the cap of Rs.150/- per day per
CSP.
iii. Reimbursement of an amount of Rs. 1500/- + taxes (if any), to all active CSPs for purchase
of sanitization materials like soap, sanitizer, face mask, hand gloves, etc.
- These welfare measures have helped the BCs / CSPs to overcome the fear psychosis of
COVID 19 pandemic and has motivated them to function in an uninterrupted manner. This also has
resulted in increased activity level at kiosk outlets, thus helping FI customers, particularly PMJDY
women customers to withdraw the instalments released under PMGKY relief by the GoI into their
accounts. - In this connection, we advise that, competent authority has approved continuation of the
above-mentioned measures for the months of June 2020 and July 2020 also, with the existing terms
of arrangement remaining unchanged. - We request you to please arrange to bring the information to the notice of all concerned.
Yours faithfully,
(Ananthanarayanan A.)
General Manager (FI&MM)
